KPDES = Kentucky Pollutant Discharge Elimination System CSO = Combined Sewer Overflow
Discharges occur during periods of heavy rain when the Combined Sewer System capacity is reached.
Discharges from this outfall flow across a 10′-0″ wide weir, and then through a 36″ dia. conduit to the Ohio River. The actual point of discharge is often under water.
