CSO = Combined Sewer Overflow
Discharges occur during periods of heavy rain when the Combined Sewer System capacity is reached.
Discharges from the Clay Street Diversion flow through a 15″ dia. conduit to
a common discharge structure with Permitted Outfall 007 – Powell Street.
The CSO Event Summaries of both are included in the CSO Event Summary of Permitted Outfall 007.
